Win the Battle Against Depression

Depression and its related illnesses affect millions of people.  Rich or poor, black or white, young or old, male or female---depression is a disease that does not discriminate.

It does, however, disrupt our work, damage family relationships, make us susceptible to other harmful physical conditions.  It robs us of our sense of place, of our ability to “be in the moment.”  Depression can mean different things to different people, but the fact of the matter is that it is painful.  Some cases are milder than others, but clinical depression hurts.  The important thing to keep in mind is that depression IS treatable.

I know… because I have suffered from depression for several years.  Having sought and found effective treatment I can tell you that there is a rainbow on the other side.  Life is filled with ruts and potholes, but without depression dragging you down, life can be wonderful.

In any battle against a difficult foe, it helps to have angels on your side.  Bob and Melissa Olson have certainly earned their wings as far as I’m concerned.  They recently appeared on my show to discuss the new E-Book “How to Beat Depression: End Your Suffering Now!”  Bob answers questions about his own successful fight against the disease.  I recommend it heartily and invite you to check it out. I want you to feel better. You deserve it.  And if you are concerned for a friend or family member, Bob Olson offers a great deal of important information that pertains to you and the role you can play in their healing.

Remember, it is not a character flaw or a knock against you if you’re depressed or dragged down by a mental disorder.  It is just a part of being human and it can happen to anyone.
